2025 Graduating RIVA Athletes

Congratulations to RIVA's Grade 12 graduating athletes! We are so proud of our graduating athletes and wish them all the best as they begin exciting new adventures this fall.

Simon Granger
Our first graduate is Simon Granger who graduated from High Cross High School. Simon plans to work in the framing industry and intends to go to Sask Polytechnic in the future. We are fortunate that Simon will continue to train with Riversdale.

Simon, you are a great mentor for our younger athletes through your coaching and it has been fun watching your skills and talents develop over the many years you've been a RIVA athlete. Best wishes in all that you do!

Jackson King
Our next graduating athlete is Jackson King who graduated from Marion Graham Collegiate. Jackson is going to the University of Saskatchewan in the fall and is enrolled in the Edwards School of Business.

Jackson on his favourite RIVA memory:

"Getting to know teammates better on travel meets.

You learn so many interesting facts about one another and share many interesting memories!"

Jackson plans to try out for the Huskies Track and Field team in the fall with hopes of making the team.

Jackson, we wish you luck with the try out and send you best wishes as you begin your new academic path.

Good luck

Luke Schamber
Our next graduate is Luke Schamber who graduated from Aden Bowman

Collegiate. Luke has been accepted to UBC and plans to study science in the fall. Luke plan to keep running for a club team in BC and hope to eventually run for UBC's track team.

Luke's favourite RIVA memory: "It was my first year with Riversdale when we played games and did a Secret Santa right before the holidays."

We will miss you around the track in Saskatoon, Luke, but we wish you all the best in BC! Good luck!

Rhea Tillmanns
Our next graduate is Rhea Tillmanns who graduated from Martensville High School. Rhea will be attending the University of Saskatchewan in the fall where she will be in the College of Kinesiology, with hopes of becoming either a physiotherapist or a nurse.

Rhea's favourite RIVA memory:

"One of my favourite memories as a RIVA athlete was our last indoor nationals. Everyone competed incredibly well, and the energy throughout the meet was amazing.

On the final night, we celebrated with a deep and delicious cake and in true RIVA fashion, Aubree ate it with no hands, which had all of us laughing. It was such a special experience, not just because of the competition, but because of the unforgettable bonding moments we shared as a team."

Rhea will be continuing her track career at the U of S as a Huskie! We will all be cheering for you, Rhea - best wishes as you begin your next adventure
