Legion Nationals Recap

Riversdale athletes perform well and enjoy Youth/Legion Nationals in Calgary, Aug 8 - 10.

Nine athletes travelled as a team to Calgary achieving personal bests, 6 top 10 performances and one medal.

Naysa Woods runs a gutsy 400m in U18 women to win silver.  She also ran the 800m placing 8th.

Casey Lewins finishes 6th in U18 discus and also runs the 100m

Toni Akintade jumps to a 7th place finish in U16 LJ.  She also ran the 100m and competed in triple jump.

Matthew Heidel achieved a big pb and finished 7th in the U16 800m.  He also ran the 300m

Our U16 4 x 100 relay (Toni, Hudson Delaire, Claire Holman, Lexi Bantle) is 9th.

Lexi also runs in the 1500m steeplechase, Claire competes in HJ, and Hudson in the 300m.

Ryder Germain has a good weekend with strong performances in U16 1500m steeplechase and 2000m and Lily Holman gives it her all in the U18 800m.  Well done!
